Writing has always been a part of my life. Being a quiet child who was very passionate about the world around me, I learned to express my opinions on paper. As I maneuver through life I learn more and construct opinions that I reflect in my pieces. Forming my opinions into written work is just as much a learning experience as researching the topics. It consists of me writing, erasing, rethinking, reforming an opinion and then going back to writing. My pieces never come out as initially planned. Currently I am a column writer for the Bismarck State College newspaper, The Mystician, where I am given the flexibility to choose my own topics and express my opinions.
