Writing has always been a part of my life. Being a quiet child who was very passionate about the world around me, I learned to express my opinions on paper. As I maneuver through life I learn more and construct opinions that I reflect in my pieces. Forming my opinions into written work is just as much a learning experience as researching the topics. It consists of me writing, erasing, rethinking, reforming an opinion and then going back to writing. My pieces never come out as initially planned. I was recently employed as the Social Media Coordinator for the Bismarck Community College Mystic Media program. I also participated as a columnist and reporter for the campus newspaper, The Mystician, where I was given the flexibility to choose my own topics and express my opinions.
